I’m more of a fried fish or a fried shrimp kind of girl but I know the health benefits and my husband’s a fan so sometime it gets thrown in the mix. Now keep that in mind when I tell you how much I LOVED this honey Sriracha salmon. It was spicy, kinda sweet, a little crispy and we were actually arguing over who would get the last piece. We diplomatically decided to split it.

So trust me: If you have someone in your family that’s hesitant about salmon or even fish in general, make this honey Sriracha  salmon for them and I promise they will eat their words. It’s that good.

The best part is the fact that it’s only 4 ingredients. FOUR!

An easy 5 ingredient salmon dish. A little sweet, a little spicy, and really tasty! The salmon cooks fast on the stove and is great served over rice with your favorite green vegetable.

Ingredients

4 pieces of Wild Salmon

3 tbsp water

2 tbsp Sriracha

2 tbsp Honey

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 cloves of Garlic, minced

1 tsp of coconut oil or your favorite cooking oil.

Instructions

Marinate the salmon: Add the salmon to a bag with the Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, water, and minced garlic. Let marinate for 30 mins to 1 hr.

Heat up a skillet on med heat. Add 1 tsp of cooking oil.

Add the salmon, skin side down first.

Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes each side (it really depends on the size of your pieces). It will be an opaque color when done.

Enjoy!

Notes

Don’t force the fish when it comes time to flip it. When it is ready, it will loosen from the pan.

Well 5 if you include the pieces of salmon…6 if you include the water…. you get my point though.

Serve with my addicting honey garlic green beans and some rice and dinner is set in less than 30 minutes!

Green beans flavored with garlic, honey, soy sauce, and Sriracha. The flavors are prefect together and elevate an otherwise average vegetable.

Ingredients

1 pound of green beans

1 clove of garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp water

1 tsp olive oil

1/2 tsp Sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, sauté the garlic in the oil till fragrant about 1 min.
  2. Add the green beans to the pan with the soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha (optional). Stir around till the green beans are coated.
  3. Add the water to the bottom of the skillet and cover with lid. Let cook for 6 mins. The water helps soften the green beans and will eventually evaporate.
  4. If you would like a softer green bean cook for an additional 4 minutes with the lid on. For a slight char, turn the heat up to medium high heat and let them sit undisturbed for a few minutes.
