Have you ever made a Dutch Baby before? I was looking to add new warm, breakfast items to the lineup when I came up with the idea for this Honey and Apple Dutch Baby!
It encompasses all the cozy flavors and is alarmingly easy. Perfect for a fun family breakfast and equally as impressive for a boozy brunch with friends.
If you aren’t familiar with dutch babies, they are puffy, baked, German-style, pancakes. They are much less fussy than their American counterpart and are very adaptable.
This recipe for my honey and apple dutch baby, features apples simmered in honey, butter, and cinnamon, then poured over the hot baked pancake, drizzled with more honey for good measure, and topped with a dollop of homemade whipped cream!
The batter is made in the blender and is less than 5 ingredients. I mean, COME ON― Does it get any easier than this?
