September was a fun month here in the Allen household! We ate a ton of good food, witnessed our daughter, Joy, learn how to roll over, and watched a lot of football! In case you haven’t visited The New Mrs.Allen lately, here is what you missed.
1. A list of our Top 12 Favorite Baby Related Products. It’s a carefully curated list of all the things that made our lives easier during those first few months. One of our good friends just publicly announced their pregnancy. I know EXACTLY what I will be sending their way. If you or one of your friends are expecting, I would strongly suggest you check it out!
2. Taco Tuesday. My love for tacos isn’t really a secret. This month we tried some blackened fish tacos and fell in love. I include a few tips to make this a quick weeknight dinner. I guarantee it will be a family favorite.
3. Just yesterday, I posted a Pumpkin Pie granola recipe full of fall flavors. Try it with a Pumpkin Spice Latte or as a guilt free dessert in a cup of greek yogurt.
As this month comes to a close, I can’t help but get excited for October. I have some great recipes to share, a few more honest mama moments, and a Fall Fashion Feature done by one of my very talented friends. I am also excited to announce my involvement with WAGSRedefined.com! It is a website created by the women of the NFL devoted to displaying a different side of NFL families, wives, and players. The Mission of WAGS Redefined is to be a voice for NFL wives and girlfriends. We desire to influence our community by changing the conversation. My role will be that of a bimonthly contributor to the food section! The recipes will be exclusive to Wagsredefined.com but I will make sure to let you know when they go live!
