This brought back some lovely Illinois Soccer memories. You could always expect warm banana bread whenever you visited the Soccer House. As much as I would love to take credit for this recipe I can’t — Why don’t you visit Lizzy over at Your Cup of Cake

This is definitely my go to recipe. Next time, I plan on swapping out the oil for coconut oil and adding a little honey for a little less white sugar.

    Is the Chicken Chile recipe in the KC Star today (1/28/15) able to be doubled?

      Yes it is! I’m so sorry I didn’t see this till now. Just make sure your crock pot is large enough and add about an hour to the cook time.
