A Modern and Functional Playroom

When we were looking for a home, I was definitely looking for a room that could house all of Joy’s toys (preferably with a door) and could also serve as an office space for me. The Custom ‘PLAY’ letters were done by my talented friend Angel of Paint Me Pretty Co!

I wanted a baby proof space with some color, storage bins, and a place for all her board books.

After scouring Pinterest, I came up with a few cost effective playroom ideas and am really pleased with the outcome.

The chairs and rug came from Ethan Allen. The navy ottomans are from Joss and Main.2016-10-26_0004

The entire gallery wall was created at Hobby Lobby. Shoutout to their bimonthly 50% off frame sale!

Several items were sourced online or picked up on countless trips to Marshalls, Ross, Target, and Hobby Lobby.

I always joke that it’s the safest room in the house– completely baby proof. I can’t wait to see our kids play together (hopefully in harmony) in there one day. I’m sure the space will evolve overtime as the kids get older but I did my best to make the space timeless. I really wanted it to be a well used room.
