Simplicity= sheet pan meals. One pot meals are great, but one pan meals are even better! I like to line my sheet pans with parchment paper to minimize the mess. This Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with crispy, flavorful roasted broccoli is one and done in less than 30 minutes.
I brushed the salmon with the easy teriyaki sauce and roasted it right next to the broccoli. I erred on the side of caution and used smaller cuts of salmon but you could also use an entire fillet.
To keep things Whole30, I started the recipe with two dates soaked in hot water till tender but you could omit this step if you choose.
If you aren’t concerned Whole30 or otherwise, use 1/4 C of brown sugar or honey instead! In my opinion, the sauce needs a little sweetness, with the spice. The flavors of chilies, garlic, ginger, and just a little sweetness make this dish special!
