These strawberries and cream bliss balls are stored in the fridge and perfect for snacking or for a small treat without feeling too indulgent. They would also be great tossed in kids lunches (if your school allows treats made with nuts.)

Easy No bake Treat: Strawberries and Cream Bliss Balls flavored with fresh strawberries, dates, and cashew butter!

Bliss Balls?

I don’t quite know where the name “bliss balls” are from but I do know they are absolutely delicious. They are basically little cookie dough balls full of wholesome ingredients. They don’t have to baked and only require a food processor or blender.

 Added bonus: they are a PALEO approved treat! (unless you drizzle with white chocolate…)

 A little tea shop back in Kansas City served something similar and I loved stopping by for one on occasion. Problem was, they were EXPENSIVE― Im talking $3 a piece. I had a craving for one the other day so I convinced myself I could make them at home. 

Easy No bake Treat: Strawberries and Cream Bliss Balls flavored with fresh strawberries, dates, and cashew butter!

Strawberries and Cream Bliss Balls

Yield 12 servings

Bliss balls full of fresh strawberries, cashews, coconut, and sweetened with dates. Delicious treat to pull from the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh strawberries 
  • 6 mejool dates, don’t forget to remove the pits! 
  • 1/2 C Cashews 
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp cashew butter
  • 1/3 C almond meal
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional) 
  • 1/2 C white chocolate chips

Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a food processor and pulse till the mixtures starts to clump together and the cashews are pulverized.

You should be able to scoop out tablespoon size portions with ease.

Roll the mixture between your palms till a ball forms.

Refrigerate balls for at least 30 mins- 1 hour before serving.

To make the white chocolate drizzle: Melt chocolate in the microwave with 1 tsp of coconut oil or in a double broiler on the stove. Stir frequently and if using the microwave only do for 15- 20 seconds at a time till completely melted.

Store in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

IF your bliss balls are too wet, add more almond meal, cashews, OR oats. It really depends on the freshness of your dates and strawberries if you will need to adjust your ingredients. 

If they are too dry and crumbly, add more cashew butter or a liquid sweetener like honey or maple syrup. 

 I have since developed three recipes for bliss balls that I will be sharing over the summer. This strawberries and cream bliss ball might just be my favorite though!
