Honey Garlic Green Beans

Green beans flavored with garlic, honey, soy sauce, and Sriracha. The flavors are prefect together and elevate an otherwise average vegetable.
Ingredients
1 pound of green beans
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp water
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp Sriracha (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, sauté the garlic in the oil till fragrant about 1 min.
- Add the green beans to the pan with the soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha (optional). Stir around till the green beans are coated.
- Add the water to the bottom of the skillet and cover with lid. Let cook for 6 mins. The water helps soften the green beans and will eventually evaporate.
- If you would like a softer green bean cook for an additional 4 minutes with the lid on. For a slight char, turn the heat up to medium high heat and let them sit undisturbed for a few minutes.
